The hunt on Pokémon Go Community Day begins.
Pokémon Go starts its community events staring larvitar, the rock-type Pokémon will be the star this june as Niantic announced.
On June 16, Pokémon Go players will have three hours to catch as many Larvitar as they can. The increased spawn of Larvitar will definitely help trainers fill up their Pokedexes and evolve them into one of the more powerful Pokémon in the game, Tyranitar.
Larvitar needs 125 candy in total to evolve into Pupitar and then to Tyranitar. Larvitar are not common in the wild, and only hatch from 10km eggs, so the next Community Day event is a blessing for trainers who have trouble finding and catching these rare Pokémon.During the event, catch experience will be tripled and Lures will last for three hours. With past Community Day events, Larvitar that evolve into Tyranitar during the three-hour window on June 16 will gain an exclusive move. Niantic hasn’t confirmed what the move will be but the Japanese in-gamenotification reveals that Tyranitar will learn Smackdown.
